Every moment is a teaching moment. We engage learning with simple and profound lessons. We protect America's Family when we remember her history.
At my children’s local elementary school they aren’t allowed to say Happy Halloween or Merry Christmas. It could offend another student within earshot of the celebratory greetings. This situation has provided our family with a good opportunity to discuss freedom in America. My 11 year old is beginning to question what freedom really means. I think if we remember the simplicity of this country’s birth we will find answers.
Unassuming. We need more of it this Christmas. Rather than assuming every salutation for Christmas, Hanukkah, Rohatsu, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, and Yule are an affront to your personal rights, may we unassumingly embrace the diversity of America and allow one another to respectfully celebrate according to their alienable rights. May you and your students and families open the gift of “seeing” what our founding fathers saw…….”e pluribis unim” (out of many, one). [found in our Liberty Lessons]
From We Are Liberty Kids to You we shout a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
“Forget all other Christmas ads. This unassuming Mormon offering might just have won the internet.” -UK’s METRO News
